Lazada Philippines: Perfect timing for Ecommerce

Online shopping has been around dating back the early 2000. It may have not been available worldwide immediately. But other countries were already able to enjoy its benefits. For almost a decade, online shopping in the Philippines struggled to make an impact to the local online users. It was only a couple of years ago when it made a positive stride in the local online market. It was actually the same time were the country was rising in the economy. Business side, it is actually the perfect opportunity to enter the market. So it did. Lazada is one of the reasons why the online shopping competition got tighter and Ecommerce started to be a popular option in the Philippines.

The growth of Ecommerce in the past was very slow a few years before they arrived in the country. The local online users never thought of online shopping as their alternative option in shopping in the past. For second hand items, local online users visit online classified websites to buy to what they are looking for. Conventionally, customers prefer to go on traditional mall when they want to purchase something brand new. It can't be helped since it is part of our culture to visit traditional malls when we want to address our shopping needs. Choosing online shopping can save the local online customers some time and money. So what can we get from online shopping? Shopping online is way easier as you can do it from wherever you are. Customers are no longer required to go to traditional offline malls saving them more money on the usual gas expense.

The Philippines' Online Shopping Mall wanted to fix this for the local online customers in the country. The online community of the country was actually hard to tap by online malls. Not being able to pay online since most of the populations are credit cardholders at all. It's also no secret that most of us find online transactions unreliable. It is most like due to the fact that we are aware of the existence of online frauds and scams. Good thing that Ecommerce now is starting to grow in the Philippines. It's quite an amazing feat for Lazada Philippines to achieve what they achieved on Ecommerce in less than a year.

To prove that they are legit online mall, they were seen on TVC on top local channels at primetime. So how did they end up breaking the limitations that plagued the Ecommerce industry before? A new alternative payment method in online was introduced by them called Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. As a matter of fact, most online stores or malls won't offer this kind of payment method. This is a risky payment method for any online business owners. Payments are not usually required right away with payment method. Their online customers can pay after they have received their orders in real time. No need for customers to worry since they get to keep their money up until they receive their orders. This is to eradicate the way of thinking of local online users about online malls as scams.
