Things Profriends do to help people in their community developments

There are lots of things that the Property Company of Friends, Inc. are involved in. I just found out off of http://twitter.com/profriendsweb    the activities that they support transcends the regular real estate development chores that they do on a day-to-day basis. Profriends is a real estate development company that has a corporate social responsibility not that they were cajoled or coerced to do it but it was out of their passion and commitment to change as many lives as they can. They took to the front lines in making things happen and improve the lives of people in their communities through various humanitarian initiatives with positive socio-economic impact all of which are consistent with their corporate ethos of “creating communities, transforming lives”. From fun runs to livelihood projects and even volunteering for the habitat for humanity house building drive to help calamity stricken families they would do it all for the sake of community and adding to the fullness of human life. The following melding of letters is going to be intended for enumerating some of the activities that the company organized and a quick description of what they exactly did during those events so you will have a good inkling of the magnitude of the things that Profriends are doing. The past and recent activities are all going to be laid out randomly and not necessarily in chronological order:

Takbo para sa Imuseῆo 2012 – Profriends participated in this fun run organized by the local government of Imus. The event beneficiary is the CARABAOS Club Inc. of Imus Cavite which happens to be the oldest socio-civic club in the town.

Calamity and emergency preparedness conference – in collaboration with The Philippine National Red Cross Cavite division and the Imus Cavite Fire Department, Profriends organized a talk that aims to educate community members about the importance of always being up on their toes in case of life-threatening emergencies life earthquake and fire. The speakers provided lectures about the nature of earthquakes, how they start and how to prepare for them. They also conducted demonstrations showing how to provide basic first aid to people in case they were injured in those emergencies. Also, the importance of having fire extinguishers handy around the house was highlighted as an effective method to take out small fires and keep them at bay before they progress to bigger conflagrations.
One Planet, One Home, A waste management symposium – Profriends headlined a waste management lecture to reinforce the basic concepts surrounding the topic of waste management in a subdivision set-up. The lecture touched on recycling of reusable trash like bottles, paper, scrap metal and others. The residents were also given tips on how to properly carry out waste segregation and to religiously stick to it. Overall, the goal is for people to be encouraged to start going green during times when global warming, the noxious effects of greenhouse gases on the atmosphere and all that environmental stuff I widely talked about.

These are some of the activities that Profriends is involved in to push the communities they developed to higher levels of consciousness and positively impact the lives of those people. There will be more and it’s guaranteed that Profriends is going to be on top of them.
