Profriends Cares about its residents

After perusing an article in about what Profriends is doing to help out people and residents of its many communities, it got me interested and lead me to search for more stuff about them doing advocacies and community developmental projects. I am interested in reading feel good topics and knowing about Profriends is also very appropriate for me because I am a resident and homeowner in one of their astounding and quality real estate development project The Lancaster New City. I am a proud owner of a single attached Gabrielle house in Manchester Village. It is a 120 square meter lot area by 84 square meter floor area two-story home built out of high quality materials. Me and my family have been living in it for around two to three years now and we could not be any happier with our decision. Profriends has really changed for the better. I am glad that the company has been involved in other activities that are worth mentioning and that they are not just all about profits. They sponsored several events recently designed to disseminate information about practical topics that would help residents in times of emergency and natural disasters as well as how to properly manage wastes that are being produced on a daily basis.

Last year, they sponsored an event called “One planet, One home” A lecture on waste management intended for Profriends residents and homeowners. It was held at the Carmona Estates clubhouse where they invited the President of the Earth Day Network Philippines Mr.Robert “Bert” Guevarra to provide the talk and facilitate the dissemination of knowledge about how to properly segregate wastes and opt for a greener earth. Before Mr.Guevarra commenced with the lecture proper, he asked the homeowners about their current waste management and segregation strategies so he would have an idea on what part of the process the residents are lacking on. After getting all the information that he needs, he then started sharing his knowledge on how to properly manage their waste that is appropriate for a subdivision setting like them.

Since recycling is also a major part in waste management, he also shared tips on how to do proper recycling of waste materials.  Mr.Robert Guevarra started his stint as an Earth Day Network Philippines president in 2011 but prior to him being appointed to the said position, he has been active in the movement in as early as the year 2000.

On top of being the president of Earth Day Network Philippines, he also currently serves as the Vice President of Zero Waste Philippines, Inc. a privately held and managed foundation that is known to be a pioneering company in promoting recycling in the Philippines. Mr.Guevarra is a perfect speaker to talk about these kinds of topics because he has been around many different seminars, symposiums and talks that aims to impart knowledge to large groups of people to educate them about proper waste management and caring for the planet.
I am proud that my real estate developer is actively engaged in these kinds of productive activities outside of the normal corporate chores that they are engaged in. It makes me proud to be a homeowner.
