Shopping - Getting it done the easy way

We always ask ourselves, how can we make things easier? It is only natural for us to think like this way since most of us don’t want to take an extra effort on something that can be done on an easier way. This also relates to our shopping activities. Although most of us are excited when shopping, some of us don’t like going through the hardships when going to traditional malls. Facing heavy traffic jam is one thing to consider. What makes it worse is when you finally arrived at the mall only to realize the place is so crowded, probably because there is a mall-wide sale.

Is it OK for local customers to choose online shopping over the conventional offline shopping? If this question were asked to the people then their answers would normally be NO. Customers always consider credibility if ever they will be shopping on an online mall.

Scams and frauds in online usually happens, which leads online customers to not rely on online shopping at all. Since the majority of the population don't have their own credit cards, online shopping is even hard for most people. It's no surprise that a lot of the first time customers ask themselves a lot of question before proceeding on their online shopping. It's automatic for online stores to have a secured line for their online credit card transactions. These are actually factors that customers usually refer to when deciding where to shop.

The online shopping pace quickly changed when online malls like Lazada arrived in the country last year. Once the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall arrived in the country they have a solution on how they will the local Ecommerce grow in the country. They offered an alternative payment method that will allow them penetrate the Ecommerce industry. This was called Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. payment method. This online setup allows customers to trust them and feel secured right away. No longer will customers be required to submit their credit card details and can try their service without having to risk their end.

How will this help customers make their shopping easier? They can select from the huge selection of their website. Customers don't need to worry that they need to pay upfront once they know what to buy on the website. For customers who opted for Cash on Delivery as their payment method, they will only need to fill a few details before their orders are processed without spending a single dime upfront. All the customers need to do is relax until their order arrives at their home, which usually takes about two to five days.

Local online customers will only be required to pay cash once they deliver their order and handed over the ordered items to them. If orders exceed one thousand pesos, customers won't have to pay for the delivery fee. This is a great security for customers since they get to keep their money up until their orders arrived at their doorstep. Seeing customers having an advantage over online stores is very unusual when you come to think of it.
