Lazada: How to make an Ecommerce business successful?

A lot of the local online competitors slowly showed up after Lazada came into the picture while the online shopping trend begun in the Philippines. Looking a few years back when they weren't around online, Ecommerce was a flat industry in the Philippines. For most local online users, online shopping is not highly considered option for them. Majority of the local online users visit local online classified websites when they are looking for second hand items. Conventionally, customers prefer to go on traditional mall when they want to purchase something brand new. It's actually inevitable for us to visit traditional offline malls when we want to buy something since we grew up that way.

Thinking of online shopping, we can actually save more time and energy if we choose it over traditional shopping. So how can these help us in our shopping needs? As long as local consumers go with online, they can do it wherever they please. Expenses can go down since local consumers won't need to spend travel expense on going to traditional offline malls. This is a shopping woe that they wanted to solve for the local online customers in the country. It's also challenging for them to be able to tap the untapped market in online of the Philippines. Most of the population in the country is actually non-credit cardholders; therefore they are unable to pay online.

There are still some questions on the reliability of online transactions. This is probably because we are aware of the existence of online frauds and scams. The local Ecommerce in the Philippines is now starting to grow. It is almost over a year now that the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall started its operation in the country yet they already achieved so much becoming one of the leading online malls in the country. They showed that they could change how the local online consumers perceive Ecommerce. They even converted a lot of offline shoppers to consider online shopping.  This is a great milestone for any online store. For them, to persuade an online user to buy from them is uncommon. I think, their payment option truly helped them a lot on this.

Their recent appearance on TVC from top local TV networks during primetime just show how legit and credible they are to the local online customers since Ecommerce in the country is limited, how did they come up with a solution? They first introduced Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. as an alternative payment method. Online malls usually don't offer this kind of alternative payment method to online customers. This payment method is risky from a business standpoint for most online business owners. It is not a requirement for their online customers to pay right away with this payment method. They will only need to pay cash once they received their orders in real time. No need for customers to worry since they get to keep their money up until they receive their orders. This is more of insurance for customers that they are not a scam online store.
