Confidence of Customers in Lazada Online Mall

The moment Lazada came into the online business picture, online competitors run by local businessmen showed up while online shopping continued its rise in the local online market. Prior to their arrival, the industry in Ecommerce was almost flat in growth. Not everyone found online shopping as a helpful option for addressing the customer’s shopping needs then. Local online users usually visited local online classified websites when they are looking for a second hand item. Usually, local consumers visit traditional offline malls when they want purchase something that is brand new. It's no surprise to anyone since traditional offline malls are usually the place we go to when we want to buy something growing up. Thinking of online shopping, we can actually save more time and energy if we choose it over traditional shopping. Why do online shopping be an option for the local consumers? They can shop online as they please, wherever that may be. Customers are no longer required to go to traditional offline malls saving them more money on the usual gas expense.

Lazada Online Mall wanted to have this issue resolved the local customers in the Philippines. One of the challenges that they were facing is how they can tap the untapped online community in the country. Since most of the population is not credit cardholders, only few can pay online conventionally. It's quite hard for the local online consumers to trust online deals right away. Majority of us are informed about online frauds and scams that other people encounter when dealing in online. The industry of Ecommerce in the country is now on the verge of rising as an online industry. It is almost over a year now that this online shopping mall started its operation in the country yet they already achieved so much becoming one of the leading online malls in the country. As for the trust and credibility status, the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall showed up on TVC during primetime at top local channels in the country.

What did they do to break the Ecommerce limitation in the country? A new alternative payment method in online was introduced by them called Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. This is a payment method that is not usually offered by online businesses. A lot of risk lies when an online business offers that kind of payment method online. Orders are not actually required to be paid upfront by customers with Cash on Delivery payment method. Cash payments can be done by customers once the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall delivers their orders on their home address. Their customers won't need to worry since they get to keep their money until their orders are delivered. This is to ensure that scams and frauds won't happen if they want to deal with them. It also gives their local online users the confidence to try their service without putting up with risk coming from your end right away. It just shows that they are confident with their online shopping service.
