Lazada Philippines: It’s just easier nowadays in online

Internet has become part of our daily activity nowadays. No matter what we do in school or work, one way or the other, we need Internet to fulfil our tasks. It became even in demand when Internet can be accessed right in your fingertips. All you need to have is an Internet capable device with Internet connection, then you can connect online wherever and whenever you are. That’s how powerful Internet can be in our lives. So it can't be helped that online shopping is now drastically rising in the country. Believe it or not, this wasn't the case a few years ago; people were hesitant in online shopping.

Most of us are aware that we have a high frauds and scams in the country for both online and offline. This is why online transactions are not highly trusted by the local online users in the country. Local online classified ads were the website closest to Ecommerce but more on the buy and sell industry. Local online classified websites pave way to the Ecommerce's arrival in the Philippines. The presence of online marketplace grew since their arrival in the country. Buy and sell was harder online classified wasn't available yet and relied only thru offline. It became a website for canvasing the market price of the item they want to buy offline. It slowly showed how Internet be diversify by online users to maximize its purpose. It became a marketplace for local online users for buying and selling.

The difference between them and Ecommerce is that it is third party resellers who gain from the traffic. Customers do Offline transactions most of the time. It's the same concept with group buying websites. They showed the steps for the arrival of the Ecommerce industry. At the time that Ecommerce websites arrived in the country, local online users were already prepared. The risk in online shopping is way lower than what they could be getting. The amazing deals offered to customers from group buy websites were very rare. With lower prices being offered by group buy websites, it made it harder for local online users to refuse them.

A year ago, the Lazada Online Mall was launched in the Philippines. They are an online shopping mall venture launched in South East Asia. The Samwer brothers who own Rocket Internet back it. By offering various payment methods, Lazada helped the Ecommerce grow in the country. Their payment methods featured different payments that allow online customers, which suit them, best. Online malls usually only allow credit card or PayPal as the accepted form of payment in online. These conventional online payments restrict customers to avail what they want since most of us don't have our own credit card or PayPal account. Local online users first introduced C.O.D. or Cash on Delivery. This payment method helps them to tap the untapped marketing in the country. This is actually the majority market in the Philippines. It has helped Ecommerce thrive more than ever with the tapping of this huger market in the Philippines.
