As we progress in the digital
era, the more demands come of the local online users expect from a website. No
longer a basic or plain website will make an online visitor stay on a specific
website. Local Internet users usually have their own websites that they
occasionally visit. It always needs to have a reason when local Internet users
visit a certain website online. Website owners should question if they gave
their visitors have a great user experience. Regardless of website niche, a lot
of new websites are being launched online everyday. It's always helpful for
websites who give online visitors experience great user interface. This can
eventually help improve sales.
A lot of online malls can be seen
offering great deals all over the Internet but they don't have great user
interface. Not even a great deal will surely lock customers to buy from an
online store if they give their online users a hard time browsing their website.
From a consumer stand point; online customers will count this one their
credibility. If websites have crappy website navigation, then chances are
customers will view them as a crappy online store. Badly treated online
customers may lead for them to spread the word that a website is a scam, which
is worse.
The Ecommerce in the country is
actually a thriving industry in online nowadays. To be honest, I believe this
started only last year. The local online community didn't consider it highly a
year prior to Ecommerce's rise. Filipinos usually check local online classified
ads posting to check for good deal second hand items rather than go for brand
new. Customers are exposed with a high rate tendency of getting scammed online
with online shopping. The local online shopping industry started to change when
website like Lazada
came in to the picture.
The Philippines' Online Shopping
Mall offered Cash on Delivery or simple called C.O.D. as an alternative payment
method to their customers. In general, this allows customers to earn their
trust on their first try since this payment method doesn’t require customers to
pay up until they receive their orders in real time. Customers actually have
less weight in risk since it's all on the online mall. After orders are handed
over to their customers, that's the only time customers that selected Cash on
Delivery as their payment method to pay in cash.
Nowadays, anyone can shop online
even if they don't possess their own credit card. But what I appreciate about
the Lazada website is their layout design as well. I think even if first time
online shoppers will find it very easy to navigate and shop. Their website is
quite easy to understand on first glance that almost any first time user will
find it easy to navigate. Local online customers won't be lost on their website
since they can easily access the category menu whenever they want wherever they
may be on the website. Local online user's interest can easily found on their
well-grouped category menu. This separates the customers that visit their
website depending on the respective customer's interest.
