LazadaPH: Making a difference in the online shopping industry

It was only last year when the Philippines' Online Shopping Mall was launched in the country. They are under Rocket Internet, a German company owned by Samwer brothers. Besides Philippines, it also exists in other South East Asia countries near the country.  South East Asia was on the rise and they wanted to be ahead in Ecommerce. They already have a lot of successful ventures on the other regions wanted to replicate it here in South East Asia. Other countries have already incorporated online shopping to their lifestyle since they adapt to it a way earlier age.

The growth of Ecommerce in the country was pretty slow before their arrival. Due to low number of online people who are able to pay online, made Ecommerce growth really hard. Only a few of us possess decent Internet connectivity. Credit cards is not common in the country as most of us don't have one. Conventionally, online payments via credit cards are the most acceptable payment method. For the first time Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. was introduced in online shopping and allowed pretty much everyone to try shopping online.

To me, this has given Ecommerce a new life by allowing non-traditional customers who can't pay via credit card to still become customers. Ever since they arrived in the country, other businesses in offline also went to online. Now that online business has relevance thanks to Lazada leading the way, local businessmen are not jumping on the online business bandwagon. It was almost impossible for anyone to penetrate the local online market since Ecommerce had a lot of issues in the country.

There are few who still can pay online but chose not to deal with online. Online shoppers who can pay via credit card just chose not to push through with it. Their growth in Ecommerce was hardly improved due to the current online shopping woes that plagued our country. In the country, classifieds online were one of the first to reach success online.  Initially, online shopping malls struggled to make an impact in the local online community.

It's actually inevitable since there were no local online malls yet that was legit. Since this was the situation when they arrived, they countered it with full blown online marketing. It's almost guaranteed that you will see at least one of their online ads at one point of your browsing online. It definitely helped their brand to get established quicker than the usual to the local online users. Their overall online shopping package allowed them to have a step ahead against their competitors. Customers can enjoy Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. payment method with Free Delivery Availability. It also has manufacturer's warranty that we also get from traditional malls.

From great warranty coverage to very flexible payment methods, it only shows that Lazada is an online mall that the local online users can rely on. It’s obvious that they really meant on showing people or their customers that they want to bring the best online shopping experience in the country.
