The Ecommerce industry is quite challenging South East Asia for any investors or business owners in the early 2000. It's actually not a surprise since the market audience in South East Asia was still small at that time. Only a few of the population own their credit card. The minority of the population who has credit cards, only a few of them will try online payment. Their reaction is expected since it's no secret that frauds and scams happen online throughout the Internet. It's actually more credible to deal with offline businesses rather than online businesses it actually feels safer for us when we deal with offline business since we deal directly face to face. However, we are overlooking the legit online businesses that offer better prices compared to offline. Traditional offline malls usually offer higher price since they have rental fee on their stores unlike online malls who can offer way lower pricing on their items.

Moreover, discounts and promos are easily offered by online malls to make them more enticing. This is actually their only way to convince customers to try online shopping over offline shopping. Ventures like Lazada are a good example that is also available across South East Asia. Their venture here in the Philippines is one of the first to offer various selections that we only see on traditional local malls. This online mall first introduced Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. to the local online customers. This paved way for them to become one of the key players in the online shopping industry. Just last April, they celebrated their first anniversary and celebrated their already great achievements for short time of existence. Since last year, most of their competitors showed up from nowhere. This just proves that they opened the eyes of businessmen about the potential of Ecommerce in the country. What we can only do is just watch online shopping goes to the next level. With their overall service experience to their customers, they won the hearts of the local online audience.

With Cash on Delivery, anyone can become customers since they can pay in cash. This allowed everyone to become their potential customers since they can pay in cash. They even offer free delivery availability as long as the transaction value exceeds one thousand pesos. They are willing to waive any shipment fee that have a value more than one thousand pesos. Now that they can offer Cash on Delivery and Free Delivery, it can easily convince any customer to try online shopping over offline shopping. This led everyone to realize that more saving can be actually done when you think of expense we usually do when in malls. Unconsciously, we tend to spend more than what we spend on our actual shopping in travel expense and even our unnecessary dining on fancy restaurants inside the mall. That’s a low of money combined. As compared to online, you can still cooked food by your mom or wife while still get the same. We even get to save right then there after shopping online.
