Lazada was just launched in the country early last year. The famous Samwer brothers are under their company Rocket Internet owns it. It is now only available in the Philippines but also in key countries of South East Asia. Since the economy is booming in most countries of South East Asia, they wanted to explore it in Ecommerce.
