Ways to Cool Down this Hot summer

The season’s intense heat can be a bit exhausting. But how can one cool down in such high temperatures without losing so much money? Having air conditioners is good but how about to those who don’t have the luxury to have it at home? So here are ways for you to cool down this summer without spending too much.

  1. Eat cold treats – When else can you enjoy devouring ice cream, halo-halo, and saba con yelo or mais con yelo than during summer? It doesn’t cost much to buy from your local ice cream street vendor or nearby carinderias.

    2. Go swimming – Going on group outings can help you lessen expenditures. You may also opt to swim at Ultra / Philippines Sports Complex.

3.  Hang out in the mall – It’s always air-conditioned. Say goodbye to pricey electricity bills. You don’t have to spend on anything except travel fare. Bring your own food in case you get hungry.

   4.  Purchase air coolers – If the electric fan just won’t do, then use an air cooler instead. It uses the   same amount of power as electric fans so don’t worry about the electric bill.

    5.  Use Mist Spray Fans – Using a folding fan when outside may not be enough and can be tiring. A mist spray fan is battery-powered and can spritz some cool water to hydrate your skin.

    6.  Watch horror movies – The spine-tingling plots and characters of horror films can help you feel some chill into your bones. Watch online or purchase VCDs/DVDs.
