Lazada: Website performance is integral in online shopping nowadays

Things have changed a lot over the years in the online marketing scene in the country. What is very exciting is how Philippines and South East Asia is rising in the Ecommerce industry, an industry that was sleeping for the past couple of years. It was not even considered a possibility that we will even have online shopping malls that are based and solely dedicated to sell to the local online community. Somehow, I really feel like we are getting aligned in the technology with other countries. Online shopping isn’t actually new to people. It has been around for quite sometime since the mid 2000. It just happened that other countries were already prepared then when it was first introduced globally. But for us, we weren’t that advance so we got left behind. But the good thing about it is that now we have website like Lazada.

They just arrived last year and are also available to other key countries in South East Asia like Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. Since we are now entering the modern digital era, the demands in the website industry is getting higher as well. Websites should not just have text on their website. It’s no longer just an information game, but website owners are also into making sure their visitors enjoy their stay in their website. The more intuitive the website is, the better they will convert. This is where the lazada.com.ph website excels at. They have a fair balance of speed and an intuitive website. Typically, a conventional online store relies on images or other media formats for the product they are selling in order to give the closest physical description of the item. As a result, it affects the other aspects of the online store website’s performance, mainly webpage load speed.
 But with Lazada online mall, despite having full of media files on their website, they managed to make it easier for their visitor to load their website on an acceptable load speed.

Personally, I am just using an average Internet connection and I never encountered any issues online loading their website.  The interface is actually user friendly. We can easily see product details in a snap via their “Quick View” button feature. You won’t leave the actual page you are currently visiting. Instead, it quickly shows a small window that you can easily close as well. One of the quickest way to use their website is just go for their search bar. No need to go thru the category pages just to narrow down what you are looking. Its saves you more time obviously. But the feature I like the most is their shopping cart. You can add and remove items in bulk or selected as much as you want. So you can pretty much just add all the items you can add and just later on decide which product you will discard to fit in your budget. It’s so easy to use and makes online shopping even more convenient.
