Lazada Philippines: Shopping with ease

Nowadays, online advertisements can be found everywhere. I’m pretty sure at one point some of you may have seen a Lazada advertisement. They are an online shopping mall in the Philippines that is one of the key players in the local Ecommerce industry. The thing that makes Lazada on top of their competition is their flexibility to their customers. They are one of the few online stores that offers various payment methods both online and offline. Ever since they arrived in the country just last year. Other local online stores showed form nowhere. They pretty much made online shopping a relevant and worth noting topic for the first time. Before their arrival, online shopping or the Ecommerce industry was struggling to grow in the Philippines.

Unlike other countries outside Asia, they were already enjoying the option of having online shopping as their alternative method to address their shopping needs. It’s always good to have options as a customer. Given that most of the online users in the local online scene are unable to pay the conventional way they needed to think of another way to penetrate local market. At best, penetrate the untapped market in the Philippines. Of course, they offered the conventional payment methods like thru credit cards. However, this made local online customers inconvenient with the setup. Since we are all aware of the risks, trusting them especially during when they were just starting and people have no clue about their brand gave them a hard time on enticing offline shoppers to divert their attention to online shopping. The odds were just against them in general as an online store in the Philippines. Good thing about them is they came in the country actually prepared. Besides the conventional online payment, they also offer Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. This payment method speaks loud for itself by just looking at their name of the payment method. Traditionally, it is being used as a payment method for fast food chains when catering to food delivery service.

However, for online shopping, it’s a very different case. The risks involve is one sided to the online store. They don’t necessarily involve upfront payment, which is the usual case of online customers to the online stores. All they need to do is visit the Lazada website and pick which want they want to order. They just need to leave their shipment address and they are set. All they need to do after they ordered is wait for it to arrive at their doorsteps. They only need to pay once they receive their orders at their doorstep. They can even inspect their orders and return their order should they see defects or etc. for free. That’s how dedicate Lazada is in assuring their customers their reliability as their preferred shopping destination. This helps customers decide easily to try their online store since they don’t have anything to loose. They can keep their money to their pockets after they order from their website.
