Lazada: Making a decent offer online

Business investing on the Ecommerce industry in South East Asia is actually very challenging for most prospect business investors in the past. Compared to other countries, we are actually behind in adopting Ecommerce in our Country’s Internet activities. It was actually a challenging role for anyone to have a successfully running Ecommerce website in the Philippines. Majority of the population in South East Asia can't actually pay online conventionally during that time. Most of the people don't have a credit card. For the few who do possess a credit card, not all of them are convinced in online transactions. It's actually expected since online frauds and scams are widely known online. Sadly, it is perceived that way in the online community. We just can’t trust them given the history that we are aware about it.

Credibility is usually questioned on online businesses as compared to offline businesses. In offline business, deals are usually done face-to-face that's why we think it's safer. However, we are overlooking the legit online businesses that offer better prices compared to offline. Online stores since unlike traditional offline malls usually offer lower costs, they don't usually pay any rental fee for their store rent. It actually makes online stores more enticing since they can offer better discounts and promos. This is actually an obvious tactic that they needed to do in order to lure customers to online shopping. Lazada Online Mall is a good example that is also available in South East Asia.  It is an online mall that is similar to what the consumers see or get from a typical traditional offline mall in the Philippines. They off

In the Philippines, they are actually one of the key online shopping malls that offer huge selections that are similar to a department store. They first introduced Cash on Delivery or simple called C.O.D. By offering this payment method, it allowed them to reach their success up to now, which is still growing. They already received glorious achievements despite just celebrating their first year last April. Since last year, most of their competitors showed up from nowhere. It clearly shows that Filipino businessmen are now open to the fact Ecommerce has a future in the country. We can only become spectators as online shopping takes off in the coming years. With this mall's unusual approach in the local market, they managed to win the customer's side. With the availability of C.O.D., they now tap customers that can’t pay in credit card. This increased the current market audience since majority of the local online users can only pay via cash. On top of that, they even offer possible free delivery as long as the transaction value exceeds one thousand pesos. Once a transaction goes above the one thousand mark, they will shoulder the shipment fee. Now that they can offer Cash on Delivery and Free Delivery, it can easily convince any customer to try online shopping over offline shopping. Nowadays, it hard to see them apart on what they can offer.

LazadaPH: Making a difference in the online shopping industry

It was only last year when the Philippines' Online Shopping Mall was launched in the country. They are under Rocket Internet, a German company owned by Samwer brothers. Besides Philippines, it also exists in other South East Asia countries near the country.  South East Asia was on the rise and they wanted to be ahead in Ecommerce. They already have a lot of successful ventures on the other regions wanted to replicate it here in South East Asia. Other countries have already incorporated online shopping to their lifestyle since they adapt to it a way earlier age.

The growth of Ecommerce in the country was pretty slow before their arrival. Due to low number of online people who are able to pay online, made Ecommerce growth really hard. Only a few of us possess decent Internet connectivity. Credit cards is not common in the country as most of us don't have one. Conventionally, online payments via credit cards are the most acceptable payment method. For the first time Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. was introduced in online shopping and allowed pretty much everyone to try shopping online.

To me, this has given Ecommerce a new life by allowing non-traditional customers who can't pay via credit card to still become customers. Ever since they arrived in the country, other businesses in offline also went to online. Now that online business has relevance thanks to Lazada leading the way, local businessmen are not jumping on the online business bandwagon. It was almost impossible for anyone to penetrate the local online market since Ecommerce had a lot of issues in the country.

There are few who still can pay online but chose not to deal with online. Online shoppers who can pay via credit card just chose not to push through with it. Their growth in Ecommerce was hardly improved due to the current online shopping woes that plagued our country. In the country, classifieds online were one of the first to reach success online.  Initially, online shopping malls struggled to make an impact in the local online community.

It's actually inevitable since there were no local online malls yet that was legit. Since this was the situation when they arrived, they countered it with full blown online marketing. It's almost guaranteed that you will see at least one of their online ads at one point of your browsing online. It definitely helped their brand to get established quicker than the usual to the local online users. Their overall online shopping package allowed them to have a step ahead against their competitors. Customers can enjoy Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. payment method with Free Delivery Availability. It also has manufacturer's warranty that we also get from traditional malls.

From great warranty coverage to very flexible payment methods, it only shows that Lazada is an online mall that the local online users can rely on. It’s obvious that they really meant on showing people or their customers that they want to bring the best online shopping experience in the country.

Lazada: Making online shopping easier for customers

Let’s face the fact that we are one of the countries who adopted late in Ecommerce. Other countries have enjoyed shopping online ever since it was introduced globally, as early as the early 2000’s. Actually, a lot of Ecommerce business has tried to run their business in local online market. However, during these times, Filipinos in general were not yet ready to avail this options due to lack of resource and payment limitations.

Although, some are already prepared or capable for online shopping, most of the population was just not ready yet. We even need to consider that online shopping is not highly regarded in the country.  But it was clear that not everyone could pay online in the Philippines.  It requires a lot of filling up of forms and it also expose you to potential harm since you get to give away for personal and confidential information. Other countries find it very challenging in dealing with online payments. Users who are new to online payment may have a hard time to pay online and should do it correctly.

If you make a mistake, your bill may be overcharged more than what you should have paid for only. It actually takes more days for wrong billing to be processed in online, which is a pain to anyone. It is not difficult. You only get what you paid for in real time. Actually, other online options have risen in this modern digital era. Shopping is an example that we can do online. Time and energy can now be preserved since we no longer need to go to malls just to shop.

Thru online shopping, you'll only need an Internet access and Internet capable device. You just need to access the website's mall online to see what they have to offer. It's actually different here in the country. Online shopping wasn't available if we go a few years back. Most of us are unable to pay online since they are not credit card owners. The growth of Ecommerce was really slow. The low market was really hard to penetrate by Ecommerce.

Ecommerce was actually saved by website like Lazada Online Mall. It made online shopping relevant when they arrived. Through C.O.D. or Cash on Delivery, this allows even non-credit card owners to still shop online on the online mall website. The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall only requires customers who opt for Cash on Delivery to leave their shipment address and name.

Customers will only be required to pay once they deliver their orders at their doorsteps. It was the first time that Cash on Delivery was offered by any online mall. It was actually offered before but only by fast food delivery companies, which helped the Ecommerce industry in the country. It made us understand how online shopping can benefit us. After their successful launch in the country, competitors grew each day. Either online or offline shopping, we can enjoy more options nowadays. They just made online shopping so easier that how it used to.

Lazada Online Mall has more to offer

Online shopping wasn’t a well-known option for most Filipinos in the past. Online classified ads were the closest to a present local online mall. But then again, it’s more on a buy and sell website rather than an online mall website which directly sells to the customers. Last year was when Lazada Online Store was launched in the Philippines. Internet Giant Rocket Internet that is owned by the Samwer brothers powers it. They don't exist in the country only but also on other key countries in South East Asia. Since our Ecommerce industry competition is low and has a high potential due to economy rise, it made them decide to launch their own venture in the region.

Rocket Internet is actually well known globally before they even launched Lazada in South East Asia. It's actually not new for other countries to conduct online shopping. Prior to their arrival, Ecommerce was slowly growing in the Philippines for the past couple of years. One reason why it is taking so long is that online users are not yet too prepared for online transactions.

Only a few have acceptable Internet speed. The ratio of credit card owners in the country is way low. Payments via credit cards are the most acceptable payment method by online stores. Luckily they introduced Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. that allows anyone to become customers For me, it changed how people perceive online shopping in the Philippines Today, more local offline business are now transitioning to online ever since they arrived in the country. Ever since they showed how online business could be successful in the country, local offline businessmen followed their success.

A few years ago, Ecommerce was really struggling due to a lot of issues as compared to other countries. The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall had almost no one who are capable to pay online are willing to shop online. For the few who can conduct online shopping, not all of them are open to that idea. These issues made the growth of Ecommerce slow. Almost local classifieds were the ones that were entertained by the local online community in the local online industry; online shopping malls really never took off prior to Lazada's arrival.

No one was willing to invest in Ecommerce at that time since it wasn't regarded at all during that time. For them to conquer the Ecommerce drought, they executed full-scale online marketing campaigns. As a result, you can see them everywhere online. This helped their online brand to be recognized quickly than other usual brands that get to that point only after 3-5 years.

Their overall online shopping service made them and turned them into a standout among their competition. On top of their Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. payment method, they also offer free delivery to their customers. Customers will also get standard manufacturer's warranty that we usually get from traditional malls. On top of these, they recently opened PayPal payment method and even offered credit card instalment for BDO account credit card holders.

Lazada PH: More signs that they continue to improve their service

Establishing an online business in the Ecommerce industry of South East Asia was no joke in the past. A lot of online business in the past has failed to do so. It can't be helped since only a minority of the market can only pay online at that time in South East Asia. Majority of them are not even credit card owners. Not all of the credit card owners are actually considering using their credit cards for payment online. Since the online market in South East Asia is aware of the scams and frauds that is why they are very hesitant to try online transactions. It doesn't help that customers are used to traditional offline businesses since they are more credible than online businesses.

The perception is that in offline business, you can deal in person, which makes the transaction success rate higher. But, where not actually considering legit online business that offer better deals over offline. Traditional offline malls usually offer higher price since they have rental fee on their stores unlike online malls who can offer way lower pricing on their items. By offering great discounts and promos, it allows online stores to be more enticing. They really need to offer this to convince online customers to try online shopping instead offline shopping.

Lazada Philippines, which is launched across South East Asia, is one of those ventures In the Philippines; they are one of the first offer enormous selections that are parallel to what offline mall offers. The Philippines' Online Shopping Mall introduced Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. as an alternative payment method on their store. It's clearly the reason they immediately made an impact up to now in the market. They were already oozing with success by the time they reached their first anniversary in the Philippines.

A lot of the competitors only launched after they showed up on the online radar last year. This just proves that they opened the eyes of businessmen about the potential of Ecommerce in the country. Time will only tell on how online shopping will become in the future. This mall managed to capture the favor of their customers via their unconventional approach. Since C.O.D. is available, customers can pay in cash and are now converted to online customers as well.

As a result, it exponentially increased the number of customers since anyone can pay in cash. Aside this breakthrough, they offer free delivery as long as the transaction value exceeds one thousand pesos. The shipment fee will be waived if it goes beyond one thousand pesos. Enticing customers to choose offline shopping over online shopping is much easier when you combine Cash on Delivery and Free Delivery. As long as these options are available for customers, they won’t have troubles in making deciding whether to still push through with offline shopping assuming they stumble on an online ad by an online mall here in the Philippines. Just as long as the online mall will offer the same payment flexibility that Lazada is offering then they can be confident that they can lure those customers to try their website.
